Tobacco Flavors

The tobacco flavors and enhancers are used in cigarettes manufacturing to modify or cover the deficiency of tobacco leaves, to make up, enhance, adjust and improve the physical specifications of cigarettes. They can give cigarettes full yet mellower fragrances, reduce irritation, improve taste, counteract the bad odors, and reduce the harmful ingredients, thus catering to consumers’ different needs.

China is among the first countries in the world to discover and use flavors and spices. Our country product tobacco flavors and spice in 1930s’, along with the national economy recovery and the cigarette industry development, new variety of flavors and spice were also unceasingly enhanced and developed, with exploration on the new craft, transformation on the fragrant structure and designing on the new formula.

Especially since 1987, with the State Tobacco Administration taking over the management of research and development of tobacco flavors, the tobacco industry has evolved into a complete industrial entity, analysis, integration, manufacturing, applications, research and development.

Using vacuum photo micro extraction chromatogram and mass spectrum technology instruments, and the supercritical carbon dioxide extraction, Boton succeeded in developing three large new tobacco flavors series, namely Re-drying tobacco reinforced flavors, secondary tobacco leaf processing reinforced flavors and acrylic fiber special processing reinforced flavors.

These would lead products to complete the spectrum of similar products in china.
